(The Spanish Teacher)
¡Hola! My name is Mayra Dominguez Lindberg. I was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador. I have always loved teaching and can remember gathering my neighborhood friends to do "lessons" with them as a child.
As a sophomore in high school, I visited the United States intending to only stay for a semester. I loved it here so much that I ended up staying for college and beyond. Although my English was very limited upon arriving, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
I have taught small group Spanish classes to 0-13 year olds in the Bozeman area since 2016. I enjoy planning engaging lessons that incorporate music and cultural nuggets. My goal is to encourage everyone to use the language they know, no matter how limited it may be. My dream is that my students will use Spanish for the rest of their lives as they continue to enjoy the diversity of the Latino culture.
I am the mother of two kind, happy, and energetic boys. Besides teaching, I enjoy reading, music, hiking, and traveling with my husband and children.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Spanish,
with an emphasis in Teaching English as a Second Language.
I had the honor of teaching ESL and Spanish 1-2 through Advanced Spanish 9-10 in Reno, Nevada for 8 years. I love to be innovative and find new ways for my students to showcase their language skills. My students won an award at the Lumiere All-School Film Fest, earned trophies and medals at Spanish language competitions, and taught Spanish to elementary students.
I am licensed in Montana to teach 5th-12th grade Spanish. I currently teach Spanish to K-5th graders at Cottonwood Elementary School and teach Music Lingua classes to children ages 0-8
at the Bozeman Seventh Day Adventist Church (off of 15th and Main).
